Something strange has happened since I started working at places next door to each other.

People are starting to recognize me. I mean, I expected that to happen in the photo lab because it's a place where you have extended periods of time helping customers, but it's happening at Publix too. "Don't you work at Publix?" Or, "do you have a twin who works at Walgreens?" No, it's just me.

And it's SO STRANGE that so many people recognize me, and many of them remember my name.

I'd gotten used to being invisible the last few decades. This is weird.

But not a bad weird.

Just a little mind-blown.

I know that feeling too.
Yeah. And now when I'm places other than Walgreens or Publix I'm hoping that nobody notices me (and usually people don't elsewhere) because I don't want to put on my "work face" when I'm off.
